Item was deleted from my credit report. Can they reinsert the item once removed?

We cannot guarantee that once an item is removed from the credit report, that it will not be reinserted. Although rare, it does happen. In fact, it just happened to me and now I'm going nuts trying to get this thing removed again (same exact company, was not sold, same everything).

By law, the credit bureaus are supposed to notify the consumer within 5 business days of an item being reinserted. If the consumer was not notified, then they must delete it again. But as you know, they rarely do what they're supposed to do - most of the time they're fighting us on it. So they usually don't notify the consumer first (at least I've never seen it). But that's how this works. There's always the possibility of an item being reinserted but it's a very low/rare possibility. And if an item is ever reinserted onto the credit file after we've worked on it to be removed, we will continue working on the item to have it removed (whether they're still in the program or not) at no additional cost to the client.

Hope this helps for future reference. Let me know if you have any questions. :-)
